Lower Level

Lower Level

The lower level is devoted to three purposes: dedicated home office space, integrated storage, and the enjoyment of wine. Two huge offices, one an anti-chamber to the other, and a filing area dominate this floor, and provide a high performance command center from which world-wide business can easily and efficiently be conducted by an individual or a full staff.  Global access is provided by broadband telecommunications sufficient for even the most aggressive day trader.

Barn & Workshop

Barn & Workshop

The barn is a highly finished architectural gem in its own right, offering three spacious and staggered bays arranged under one roof along a dramatic view bluff and opening onto their own deck. These areas are set up to be used as equipment, Recreational Vehicle and/or boat storage, and contain multiple shop areas, suitable for the most accomplished craftsperson, with vent hoods, a cabinet shop and substantial wood storage.

Tea House

Tea House

Down a gently meandering path from the main house, sits a perfectly proportioned and moveable tea house, beautifully sited above the beach and surrounded by a natural stone patio. It can be opened to nature by four sets of doors, one of which is a vintage pair that is beautifully adorned by an octopus motif. This is the ideal spot from which to take advantage of the estate’s absolute tranquility – a daily respite for meditation.

Private Gardens

Private Gardens

The gardens that surround the main house and connect it to the other structures on the property offer a delightful series of meandering pathways, streams and a pond with water wheel that combine to create a spiritual refuge mixing natural habitat with carefully placed foliage – effectively an exterior gallery of plantings and outdoor vignettes, ideal for contemplative strolls.

Cliffside Picnic Area

Cliffside Picnic Area

A relatively level and groomed clearing surrounded by trees affords great space for outdoor recreation and could serve as the future home for farm animals or equestrian pursuits. This sunny pasture opens gracefully onto a cliffside picnic perch overlooking a dramatic coastline and western sunsets, defined by fieldstone and split rail fences reminiscent of those found in National Parks.

Beach
